(HARRISBURG) – In addition to being named chair of the Senate Local Government Committee, State Senator Cris Dush (R-25) has been named to six key committees in the Senate.
Senator Dush was named vice chairman of the State Government Committee and a member of the influential Appropriations Committee as well as Communications and Technology, Game and Fisheries, Labor and Industry and Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness committees.
“I am humbled at the trust placed in me by the Leadership team in assigning me to these committees,” Senator Dush said. “Each of these committees will be addressing issues that will have a big impact on our community and the state. The issues likely to be debated by these committees include the state budget, cybersecurity, the state’s unemployment system as well as protecting our veterans and preserving our natural resources.”
